Dolmabahce Palace

During the Ottoman Empire, this palace was used as the main administration building and residence of the Sultans and their families until 1922. A breathtaking place which is intensively and extensively decorated with full of gold and crystal while the Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassical styles. The main palace has three parts: Muayede Salon (Ceremonial Hall), the Imperial Mabeyn (State Apartments), and the Imperial Harem.

Rustempasha Mosque

This wonderful mosque was designed by the famous Mimar Sinan and was built after Pasha’s death, who was the husband of Suleiman’s beloved daughter Mihrimah Sultan, in 1563. During Suleiman’s sultanate, Rustem Pasha was the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire. A masterpiece of Sinan the Architect is most known for its fabulous interior decorated by the unique Iznik tiles.

Rumeli Fortress (from sea)

This efficacious fortress, which is located on a hill on the European side of the city, right on the banks of Bosphorus, was built by Sultan Mehmed II in 1452.  Before the conquest of Constantinople, this fortress was the perfect place to control the commercial and military traffic coming from Black Sea.

Ortakoy (no Stop)
