Gallipoli was one of the most important fronts in World War I. During the WWI, the allies tried to conquer this area to get through Istanbul. You will see more about this war, and in particular, what happened in this incredible site. You will visit places such as Brighton beach, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine and many others.

Day 1: Arrive in Istanbul

Day 2: Istanbul Classics & Ottoman Relics Tour

You will see five of the most important attractions in Istanbul: the Hippodrome, which was once the social center of Istanbul, the Blue Mosque, with its beautiful hand painted tiles and Hagia Sophia: one of the greatest masterpieces ever built, and then, Caferaga Medresesi, where you will see the incredible art of Ebru. You will fall in love with Istanbul istantly. The afternoon starts with a visit to the Topkapi Palace, where you can see amazing treasures and imagine how Sultans’ lifes were. The tour ends with a walk through the Grand Bazaar, where 5000 shops, selling everything: from rugs to lamps, are waiting for you.

Day 3: Gallipoli Tour

To join the Gallipoli and Troy Tour, you will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and we will drive you to the tour’ starting point: the waterfront where one of the most well-known battles of the WWI took place. There, you will learn more about this battle, its history and facts.

Gallipoli is one of the most relevant places when it comes to World War I. It was through this area that the allies tried to get through in order to conquer Istanbul. It was also a major victory for the central powers. You will learn more about this war and, in particular, what happened in this incredible site. You will visit places like Brighton Beach, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly and the Chunk Bair New Zealand Memorial. The last stop is the Kilitbahir fortress, our last stop, which was built in 1453 by Mehmet II, the Conqueror (to honor his successful siege of Constantinople). After the tour ends you will be transferred to your hotel in either Eceabat or Canakkale.

DAY 4: Troy Tour

In Troy,  you will learn more about mythology and all the history that surrounds this enigmatic place.

After breakfast we will drive to Troy. Here you will learn the mythology surrounding Troy, The Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy. Until now, 10 cities have been discovered there, one built on the top of the other, dating back to 3500 BC. You will also hear about the battle between Archillies and Paris, the Remains of Troy IX, the Alters and the Houses of Troy I, dating back to 2500 BC. After our morning Troy tour we will depart from Canakkale and drive back to Istanbul. After arrival we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 5: Free Day in Istanbul

After having your breakfast, you will have free day in Istanbul.
Depends on your return flight time, transfer from your hotel to the airport.
